School of Nursing and Health Studies at the University of Miami is seeking a full-time, tenure track Assistant Professor. Candidates must hold a PhD in Nursing with a dedicated history of scholarship and at least 2 years of progressive experience with some teaching is required. Responsibilities include establishing a program of research, seeking external funding, teaching in the undergraduate and graduate programs, academic advising of students, evaluating student performances, developing teaching methods, delivering a range of teaching and assessment activities including lectures and coursework, scholarship and research scholarly activities, community and academic service activities, and participating in University and School committees. Will be responsible for practical/clinical work where applicable.
