The Business Law Department at the University of Miami Patti and Allan Herbert Business School invites applications for a Full-time Lecturer position to begin in the Fall semester of 2022. We seek applicants with experience and demonstrable excellence in teaching undergraduate and/or graduate students in one or more areas of Business Law, Ethics, and/or Critical Thinking (legal reasoning and persuasion/advocacy). A terminal degree in law (J.D.) from an accredited institution is a prerequisite. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. The position is not tenure earning. ABOUT THE MIAMI HERBERT BUSINESS SCHOOL: The Miami Herbert Business School is a comprehensive business school, offering undergraduate business, full-time MBA, Executive MBA, MS, PhD and non-degree executive education programs. It is one of 12 colleges and schools at the University of Miami, which is located in residential Coral Gables, Florida. The University is part of a major hub of international trade and commerce and acclaimed for its global orientation and the diversity of its faculty, students, and curriculum. ABOUT THE BUSINESS LAW DEPARTMENT: The successful candidate will join a thriving Business Law Department of 19 accomplished full-time tenure-track faculty and instructors with varied scholarly interests.
